Three Rivers Community Foundation Grant

This morning we attended a Community Grants Ceremony and received a $500 grant to help us with an awareness event we are planning for October 2015. The focus will be breaking down the stigma often associated with mental illness and exploring available services in our own community, including barriers, possible duplication and/or gaps. Our model is a program put on in Orange County, CA by Pastor Rick Warren at Saddleback Church.
The Grants Ceremony was a wonderful celebration of the efforts of so many agencies and individuals in our community to address needs in the areas of: Animal Welfare, Arts, Education, Food, Health, Human Services, Religion, and Youth. We are excited about future possibilities to partner with some of these agencies. And, we applaud the efforts of the Three Rivers Community Foundation to channel financial assistance to meet these needs.
