Summer DBT Skills Review Group (Biweekly)

June 10th - August 19th

 

This biweekly summer group offers a supportive, skills‑focused review of core Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) concepts. The group provides a topical overview of DBT skills, including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, with an emphasis on practical application in daily life.
This group is especially well‑suited for individuals who have previously completed DBT skills training and are looking for a refresher, reinforcement, or renewed practice of skills. Sessions will focus on reviewing key skills, discussing real‑life application, and strengthening confidence in using DBT tools effectively.
Individuals who are new to DBT are welcome to attend and can benefit from exposure to DBT skills in a supportive group setting. However, because this group is designed as a review rather than a comprehensive DBT program, new participants are encouraged to enroll in the next full DBT skills training cycle beginning in late August or early September for a more in‑depth experience.
